  • Found Art Project: Juried Exhibition

Submit your unique artistic interpretation(s) of throwaway culture, and help us start a conversation about the first, second, and third incarnations of our waste.
  • SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED:

Submit this entry form by 11:59 PM on Sunday, October 3 to exhibit your work. Please read the edited "Important Dates" list below.

Please Note: The submission process is technically more of a screening process. Most submitted works will be accepted for exhibition unless deemed unsuitable or inappropriate for the park setting by the curation committee. If submitted work does not fit the brief as outlined in the Exhibition Prospectus, a committee member will reach out and the artist will be given the option to re-submit.

This exhibition will be on display at the Ringwood Manor Barn Gallery starting Saturday, October 9 through Sunday, October 16, 2021. Along with Kate Dodd’s installation, “Understory,” it will serve as a visually impactful reminder of the effect each of us has on our environment. The work in this exhibit will be juried by Artists Kate Dodd (www.katedodd.com) and Margery Theroux (www.margerytheroux.com), with awards and prizes announced at a ceremony on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 12:00 PM.

The Found Art Project is made possible with funds from Sustainable Jersey and the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
