Welcome to the audition process for A Midsummer Night’s Dream at KMC Onstage! We are very excited to offer the 2022 YOUTH TOPPER entry.
Please read through this entire packet and fill out the audition forms included.
We strive to cast fairly with the guiding objective of assembling the best overall cast that will serve the directorial vision for the show. Some of you may not be cast, but we hope you will not be discouraged and will opt to help us in another capacity if you do not get a part. Thank you for auditioning, and break a leg!

Roles for A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be offered by Facebook messenger, email, and/or phone by Thursday, Jan 6. We ask that you respond as quickly as possible with an acceptance or refusal so that roles may be recast if necessary. The cast list will officially be announced as soon as possible.
Full cast read-through will be on Tuesday, Jan 11 6:30pm.
Rehearsals will generally run Monday-Thursday 6:30-8:30pm, with some additional Saturday work calls and rehearsals.
You may not be called for every rehearsal until we get closer to opening night. Then you will be expected to attend every rehearsal. TECH WEEK: The week before opening, is mandatory attendance for everyone. There can be NO CONFLICTS for Tech Week (Feb 21-24) or Performances (Feb 25-27, Mar 4-6). Missed work calls or rehearsals must be included on your conflicts sheet or cleared with the director ahead of time.
February 25-27, March 4-6
Fridays at 7:00PM, Saturdays at 2:00PM, Sundays at 2:00PM
Once you have completed the audition form. Please list ALL of your conflicts. Keep in mind holidays, travel plans, work requirements, and school events.
NO conflicts during tech week and any of the performances.
A complete rehearsal schedule will be given out once the directors go through casting and conflicts.
