GirlPower Peer Mentor Nomination
Do you know a high school student who would be a strong role model for younger girls? Use this form to nominate a student to learn more about becoming a GirlPower Peer Mentor. GirlPower Peer Mentors are high school students who receive training and help lead healthy relationship education activities with girls in 4th–8th grade Chrysalis After-School programs in Greater Des Moines. Nominated students are not making a commitment by being nominated. Chrysalis will follow up with them to share more information about the opportunity, time commitment, training, and stipend or volunteer-hour options. Peer Mentors will participate during the 2026–2027 school year and can receive a stipend for their time or count their hours toward Silver Cord or other volunteer programs. The estimated time commitment is approximately 40 hours during the school year.
