GirlPower Peer Mentor Nomination
GirlPower is a healthy relationship education program for girls participating in Chrysalis After-School groups. The project is designed to engage and employ high school students to serve as Peer Mentors for girls in 4th-8th grade Chrysalis After-School programs in Greater Des Moines. High School students will participate in training and teaching during the 2025-2026 school year and will be provided a stipend for their time or can take hours as volunteerism for Silver Cord and other programs. Estimated time commitment is 40 hours during the school year.
