ELBC Future Directions Survey

Echo Lake Bible Camp has been a part of the culture of many people over the past 88 years, and we trust God has a plan for ELBC to move toward our centennial and beyond.  The Board of Directiors and Executive Director Team are committed to diligently seek God’s guidance and will for His camp, and we would like to invite you, the constituents, to help inform us on how we can best move forward.  We hope you will take some time to think and pray over your responses.  Your feedback is so valuable to us, as our hope is to provide programs and services to you and our community that meet the currents needs while fulfilling the vision God has given us for ELBC.     This is a statement of what is envisioned for ELBC and for the lives of the people it serves into the future if ELBC is successful in its mission - beyond the planning horizon. The vision of the organization is challenging, drawing it into the future and motivating people to achieve more than they imagine is possible. Vision determines mission, not the other way around. Our current vision statement is: ELBC encourages people to discover their part in God’s story. Do you agree with this vision statement? Do you think there are other priorities for our vision?

    A mission is a statement of purpose – what ELBC exists for and what it is to accomplish. It is the simplest, shortest, most accurate expression of the organization’s reason to exist. This statement should be a short statement that every leader, staff, volunteer, constituent and member can recall and use frequently and naturally. Our current mission statement is: To provide an atmosphere where diverse people have the freedom to pursue their part in God’s story. Do you agree with this mission? Is there a different purpose that ELBC stands for?
