The BARWIS Methods internships are first-in-class programs that allow for practical, real-world experience and hands-on learning opportunities. Students currently travel from around the country to participate with us and can expect to leave their internship with a portfolio of experiences that not only complement their academic education but also provide tactile development of their skills and interests.
Strength and Conditioning
BARWIS Methods Strength and Conditioning interns will be taught the world-renowned BARWIS Methods while working alongside Mike Barwis, and other elite certified trainers. They will learn how to properly implement our program components for injury prevention, speed training, agility training, cardiovascular training, nutrition, functional flexibility, core training, balance and functional training, plyometrics, explosive, and impulse training, and weight training. They will do assist in the training of a wide range of athletes, from the world-class Olympians and professionals to developing youth, and will have access to our strength coaches to use as models for coaching and sources of knowledge.
Very strong work ethic.
Responsibilities of BARWIS Methods Interns include, but are not limited to:
(1) Learning and assisting BARWIS Methods Coaches in performing daily duties of coaching.
(2) Learning operations of how to run a BARWIS Performance Center
