SGSF's Mentorship Program - Open to Women and Men Leaders in Various Industries
*The Commitment is from September 1 - June 30.
*The key focus for each Mentor is to provide consistent STEM education exposure, awareness, access, and opportunity for your Mentee through innovation, leadHERship, and entrepreneurship pathways.
*Mentors are a strength to our success and in doing so provide opportunities for SGSF to gain resources, funding, and networks for sustainability with introductions, invitations to speak or train along with opportunities to engage a larger employee community.
*Mentors and Mentees are expected to meet at least 30-minutes per month for inspiration, awareness, engagement and exploration into STEM education, activities, college degrees, certifications, and entrepreneurial pathways.
*Mentors are expected to create awareness and opportunities for Mentees to explore and become aware and engage in building of skills for their personal and professional toolkits through networking events, professional organizations, professional meetings and industry service projects.
*Mentors are expected to attend at least two program events per year to support the work and IMPACT of SGSF and the opportunities given to Mentees, while getting to know other Mentees and Mentors to build our SHINE Community stronger.
*Mentors are expected to attend one or both of SGSF’s major fundraisers, the SUPERLady Soirée benefitting SGSF’s programs and operations, Thursday, November 2, 2023, and or the Ladies & Girls leadHERs TEA, March 2, 2024, benefitting scholarships for SUPERGirls to attend STEM and or leadHERship camps as well as college or certification STEM programs.
