Memorial Donation for Amy Tanaka

Per the request of Amy and her family, all memorial gifts will be designated to the Counseling Office at Bishop Fenwick High School.

Amy Tanaka passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, after a long battle with colorectal cancer.

Amy, along with her husband, Chris, and their three children Davis (Fenwick Class of 2020), John (Fenwick Class of 2024), and Kate (Fenwick Class of 2024) have been ambassadors of all things Bishop Fenwick High School for many years. Throughout Amy’s battle, the family, most specifically their children, benefitted from the outstanding support of the Counseling Office at Fenwick.

While their passion for Fenwick runs deeps, Amy believed wholeheartedly in the work of our three counselors and saw the direct impact it had on her children. Before she passed, she and Chris worked with Fenwick to ensure contributions made in her memory would support Fenwick’s Counseling Office.

Your gift in memory of Amy Tanaka will have a profound impact on young men and women by providing additional counseling services and programming. Amy’s love for Fenwick was felt by so many, and her belief in the Counseling Office will live on for others to benefit.

Eternal rest grant unto Amy, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
