The policies outlined in this agreement are binding for the duration of the student's enrollment at STMHS.
REFUND POLICY: Students who withdraw after the beginning of the school year will be charged one quarter of the year's tuition for any portion of the quarter attended. Quarters end as student's grades are issued throughout the year. The difference between payments and charges will be refunded accordingly.
TUITION CHARGES: Tuition charges for the school year beginning in September are determined by the school's annual budget. Tuition billings for the next academic year begin in July of the current year. Parents who are members in good standing of a parish within the Diocese of Springfield may receive some financial assistance from their parish (at the discretion of the individual pastor) and will be billed accordingly after the sponsorship share of the tuition has been determined, while all others will be billed the full
PAYMENTS: All tuition and personal financial obligations incurred by the students are due in full under the terms of three following 1 Full tuition due by August 1st with a $75 discount for paying in full. 2 Two equal payments due by the 1st of August and the31st of January. 4 Ten monthly payments due the 20th of each month from July through April. You must use FACTS as a tuition 'Any failure to meet the specified payment terms may result in the student's not being able to register or attend classes, take exams (both mid-term or final), attend senior activities, receive grades, transcripts or a diploma. In addition, parents may be asked to withdraw their student from St. Mary's Parish High School.'
NON-TUITION EXPENSES: All non-tuition expenses including extra-curricular activities or athletics, insurance, textbook purchasesor the like, incurred while the student is enrolled shall be paid when the expense occurs.
LEARNING DISABLED STUDENTS: STMHS does not provide special accommodations for instruction and assessment, nor does it provide specially trained staff to teach learning disabled students. If parents report a learning disability, they must provide current documentation describing the nature of the disability and be aware that special services are not available at the school. Admission of learning disabled students will be conditional, and the conditions will be reviewed at scheduling time for the following year.
ENROLLMENT TERMS: The parent and student agree to conform to all policies set forth in the above Enrollment Agreement.
NON-DISCRIMINATION: Saint Mary’s High School accepts students of all faiths and does not discriminate based on race or nation of origin. All are welcome to attend our school. Saint Mary’s does, however, have the option to deny enrollment based on academic and conduct history.
