Due to space and time limitations, as well as to encourage diversity of topic coverage, we will only be able to accept a limited number of high-quality proposals. Therefore, we encourage the workshop presenters to submit only one proposal that is specific and detailed in justifying relevance and viability. In the case of very similar workshop proposals, we might ask the presenters to merge into a single workshop.
After the November 26 deadline, the Conference Committee will evaluate all proposals. The Committee may follow up with questions about your proposal as needed. After the review period, the Conference Committee will select highly rated proposals. Notifications regarding your proposal status will be sent by mid-December. Workshops will be presented on Monday, January 31, and Tuesday, February 1. SAEOPP thanks you in advance for contributing your time and knowledge.
ABOUT THE PRESENTATIONS: SAEOPP workshop presentations provide a unique forum for practitioners and others to present, learn, discuss, and explore the latest experiences, challenges, trends, and promising practices in the field of College Access and Success. Proposals that address exciting topics in creative formats that generate lively interactions among participants are highly encouraged. By submitting a proposal, you agree to give SAEOPP permission to record your session, if so desired.
Contingency Plans: Given the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, workshops may be in-person, hybrid, or virtual. This decision will be made by the SAEOPP Association as needed. Presenters should be prepared to run the workshop in any of the three modes.
