You will have to work with our trainer, Smarty Paws Canine College LLC, as soon as/if you see, or know of behavioral needs. It’s a valuable resource designed to support you and your foster dog and reflects our commitment to teamwork and shared success. When to Reach Out -Fostering can come with challenges, especially with puppies or dogs adjusting to a new environment. If your foster dog begins to show behaviors such as: •Nipping or biting •Jumping or excessive humping •Mouthing during play •Difficulty settling •Dog/Outside People introductions •and MORE! - That’s when you get to reach out and notify the Director so additional training support can be provided. **During your foster dog’s decompression period, we strive to be proactive in setting both you and the dog up for success.** *Are you open to support?*
