What to bring:
The apple orchard can be a fun place for children of all ages.
You are welcome to bring your own wagon. We suggest that you wear tennis shoes and mosquito repellent, especially during the morning and evening hours. We do not want you to be anybody's dinner! If it is sunny, sometimes a hat can be nice.
Also, please bring your own water. We will have a water dispenser you can use to re-fill your water bottle. Thanks.
We also ask that you bring a mask in case you are near people who are immuno-compromised . Usually being outside is not a problem, but we want to be considerate of others, so please wear a mask if you are inside the barn or close to people who are not in your group. Thanks. The orchard is big and there are lots of places to be away from everyone else.
You do not need to bring a container or bag. We sell you the bags and you are invited to fill them to the max! The one peck stretchy bag can hold up to 14 pounds of apples. The 1/2 peck basket bag is beautiful and fun to give as a gift or for children to carry their own bag. It can hold 6 lbs of apples. The costs of the bags vary throughout the season and range in price from $12-$20.
We do not charge an entry fee. We accept cash and credit/debit cards. Thank you. We hope you have a fun time enjoying the green, lush orchard and flavorful apples! If you have any special mobility needs or have any questions, please let us know and we will try to help.
Please leave your dear pet friend at home. Health regulations do not allow us to have pets in the orchard during this season. Thanks.
Direction Hints: Google Maps will direct you to the general vicinity but will not tell you where to turn! When you see a bright yellow sign on a drive way before you get to the destination (about one mile from W. Pichacho as you travel down Shalem Colony Trl), turn on your right blinker and slow down. You are getting close. The place to turn in is on the gravel road (2330 Shalem Colony Trl). You may see an apple sign there! Please go follow the gravel road down and across to your left until you see a large metal building. That is where you can check in.
If you are running late or early, it is alright. Please come! Also, you are welcome to stay as long as it takes for you to enjoy picking apples and even munching on a few. Our goal is to give people a chance to enjoy nature and yummy fruit and create great memories.
Thank you!
See you soon!
