All alcoholic beverage service on campus requires the College’s food service provider to provide bartender(s) to handle and serve alcohol.

Responsible Party shall be required to provide alcohol inventory directly to the College’s food service provider who will manage distribution during the event. All unconsumed alcohol will be returned to the sponsor after the conclusion of the event. Alcohol is limited to beer and wine and service.

Maximum alcohol beverage service of four hours. This includes the cocktail hour. Alcohol service must end at least 30 minutes before the scheduled event.
Maximum of up to four (4) hours of service. Example: one (1) hour for cocktail hour with three (3) additional hours permitted. Alcohol service must end at least 30 minutes before the scheduled event ends.

No alcoholic beverages shall be dispensed from kegs or barrels. When serving wine with dinner, no carafes, decanters, or wine bottles are permitted on the table. The wait staff will be responsible for pouring the wine during dinner.

The Responsible Party must provide appealing and adequate food and non-alcoholic beverages for the duration of the event. Breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables, brownies, pizzas, subs, etc. are considered appropriate foods for receptions; chips, pretzels and salty snacks are not considered acceptable.

Any individual deemed by a College representative or one of the College’s designees to be visibly intoxicated will not be permitted to enter or will be asked to leave.

No alcoholic beverage will be served to any person who is under twenty-one (21) years of age or who is visibly intoxicated. Proof of age will be required. Please advise your attendees to be prepared to produce appropriate identification, if asked. Your attention is directed to Pennsylvania Law that prohibits the serving, furnishing, and consumption of alcoholic beverages to or by persons less than 21 years of age.

Licensee shall obtain, at its expense, liability insurance, including Liquor Liability coverage, which both the College and Licensees are named as insured with minimum policy limits of one million dollars for personal injuries, including death and one million dollars in aggregate for all property damage, the term of such coverage shall coincide with the term of the Agreement. Said policy of insurance shall contain a provision which states that it cannot be canceled except upon fifteen (15) days express written notice to all insured. The College shall be furnished with a copy of said policy or certificate of insurance fourteen business days (14) prior to the effective date of the Agreement.

No alcoholic beverages will be sold in any manner, including by use of tickets or donations.

The event may require 3rd party security. The Director and Chief of Campus Safety will determine if security is required. This cost will be the responsibility of the Licensee.
