  • This HAIR EXTENSION & HAIR COLOR SERVICE AGREEMENT (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is effective as of the date signed below between the parties "You" and "Stylist" (collectively referred to as the "Parties" and each a "Party").

    1. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED Stylist shall provide You with hair extension and/or hair color services as agreed upon during the consultation (the "Services"). The specific details of the Services, including the method, color, and any additional treatments, will be determined based on Your needs and Stylist’s professional recommendations.

    2. PRICING & PAYMENT Pricing for Services will be determined during the consultation. If hair extensions are being installed, the hair selection will be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Any hair purchased outside of the consultation is at Your own risk and will not be guaranteed. A non-refundable booking fee of 50% may be required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due upon completion of Services.

    3. WARRANTY Stylist warrants that all Services will be provided in a diligent manner that meets or exceeds generally accepted industry standards.

    4. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS You agree to and acknowledge all of the following: Hair extension warranties are only applicable if You follow all care instructions provided by Stylist. Guidelines for hair extension and hair color maintenance are available at www.maverickthesalon.com and on the Maverick Salon Instagram page. Hair extensions may require toning or coloring to achieve a perfect match, and any additional color services are included in the agreed-upon package price. Once hair extensions are purchased, they are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different color or type. The color, method, and length of the hair extensions installed are selected by You, regardless of Stylist’s recommendations. Hair extension maintenance appointments should be scheduled every 6-8 weeks, and Stylist cannot guaranteeinstallations beyond this timeframe. A removal service is available for $25. If maintenance is delayed beyond 8 weeks, additional fees may apply for detangling, matting, or other necessary treatments. Any issues with hair extensions beyond 7 days of wear are considered regular maintenance and will not be covered by Stylist or Maverick Salon. A blending haircut is required with all hair extension installations and is included in the package price. Initial discomfort or tenderness after installation is normal and may last up to a week or more. No refunds will be issued if You choose to remove the extensions for personal comfort. Hair extensions may contain metal beads lined with silicone or tape containing latex. It is Your responsibility to notify Stylist of any allergies before installation. A hair care sheet has been provided to You for reference.

    5. REFUND POLICY If You are dissatisfied with the Services, You must notify Stylist within 48 hours of installation. For chemical services we ask that you please notify your stylist within 5 business days. Stylist will arrange an appointment to make necessary adjustments. After this grace period, any changes will be subject to additional charges. No refunds will be issued.

    6. TIMING & SERVICE COMMITMENT You acknowledge that the time required for hair extension installation and/or hair color Services will vary based on method, technique, and hair condition. Stylist makes no guarantees regarding completion times, so You are encouraged to schedule Your appointment on a day without time constraints. Stylist allocates dedicated time specifically for You and the Services outlined in this Agreement. If You wish to modify Your originally booked Services, You agree to notify Stylist at least 48 hours in advance to allow for adjustments. If You choose to forgo any Services upon arrival, You may either proceed with payment for the originally scheduled Services or reschedule to accommodate the changes. Refunds will not be issued for same-day cancellations of individual Services.

    7. HAIR EXTENSION QUALITY & LIABILITY You acknowledge that Stylist and Maverick Salon source high-quality hair extensions; however, as a human hair product, variations in texture, color, and longevity may occur. Stylist and Maverick Salon are not responsible for natural inconsistencies in the hair, including but not limited to premature shedding, tangling, or color changes. Hair extensions typically last 6-12 months, but external factors such as hard water, sunscreen, tanning lotions, drugstore products, and failure to follow the recommended care plan can significantly shorten their lifespan. You assume full responsibility for the maintenance and care of Your extensions once installed.

    8. HAIR EXTENSIONS AS A LUXURY SERVICE You acknowledge that hair extensions are a luxury service and require a higher level of care and maintenance than natural hair. Stylist is responsible only for installation and maintenance during scheduled appointments and cannot be held liable for the daily care and condition of Your extensions. Any damage, tangling, matting, or premature wear resulting from improper care, environmental factors, or failure to follow aftercare guidelines is Your sole responsibility.

    9. KERATIN TREATMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Keratin treatments require specific aftercare to maintain their longevity and effectiveness. Following the recommended guidelines is essential for the best results. Individual results may vary based on hair type, condition, and adherence to aftercare instructions, and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

    10. NO SHOW + CANCELLATION POLICY Maverick Salon’s cancellation policy applies to all appointments. Clients are required to provide at least 48 hours’ noticeto cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid fees. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, you will be charged. If you cancel on the day of your appointment or fail to show up, you will be charged 100% of the service cost. If you no-show for your scheduled appointment, the 50% booking fee will be retained to cover the missed services. It is solely at the stylist’s discretion whether or not to rebook your appointment. If the stylist agrees to rebook, you will be responsible for paying an additional booking fee to secure the new appointment. The remaining 50% of the service cost will be due upon completion of the rebooked appointment.

    11. WAIVER You release Stylist and Maverick Salon, its employees, and affiliates from any responsibility for undesired results, hair damage, allergic reactions, or scalp irritation resulting from Services. You also acknowledge that hair color may stain clothing, skin, or personal belongings, and You agree to take precautions. By signing below, You confirm that You have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Agreement

  • I hereby grant, Maverick The Salon and the stylist performing my services the irrevocable right to photograph me and to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and distribute those images in any form of media for advertising, marketing, portfolio, educational, editorial, and other lawful business purposes. I understand that I will receive no compensation for the use of these images and release Maverick The Salon, its stylists, and photographers from any claims or liability arising from their use.*
