  • Committees are the heart of the Friends organization.

They play a vital role in supporting a strong and effective Board of Directors, which is essential to the success and sustainability of any nonprofit. Most of our work is carried out through committees. These groups take on responsibilities assigned by the board, offer recommendations for board action, and help improve overall board efficiency and impact.
