ADDITIONAL STYLIST FEES: Parties requesting 5 or more services (ex: hair & make up = 2 services) or parties with a tight timeline necessitate the use of a Second Stylist. This will be decided on a case by case basis. Additional Stylists will be contracted by Renée J. Beauty, and incur a $100 fee per additional stylist. If applicable, this will be communicated to the client and will be invoiced with retainer. Fee is non-refundable but is transferable to another date within 1 calendar year of original date.
TRAVEL FEES: Locations in Portland are included in pricing, but are happy to travel for weddings! Driveable travel outside of Portland is billed at $1/mile round trip. Travel over 1 hour will include a $100 surcharge. Travel over 2 hours may require an overnight stay, (dependent on weather conditions & event start time) and will be decided & discussed with client on a case by case basis.
Cost of mileage, tolls, flights, hotels and overnight accomodations will be configured (if applicable) and will be invoiced with retainer. Should re-booking travel due to rescheduling incur additional costs, those costs will be paid by the client as well. Travel fee is billed per stylist, is non-refundable but is transferable to another date within 1 calendar year of original date.
MISC. FEES: Events that require a start time prior to 7 am will incur a $100 surcharge, per stylist. Parking/entry fees (when applicable) will be applied at cost, per stylist to final invoice.
GRATUITY: Tips are not expected, but graciously accepted via aforementioned platforms or cash.
REFUND POLICY: Retainer fee (25% of service fee) is non-transferable and non-refundable. Travel and additional fees are transferrable, but non-refundable. Remaining balance on final invoice is refundable on terms of COVID closures, unforeseen tragedies, or natural disasters.
PRICING GUARANTEE: Pricing is guaranteed through the end of the year of your wedding date with a signed contract and paid retainer. After the 1st of the next year, pricing is subject to change in accordance with current Renée J. Beauty rates.
AMENDMENTS TO SERVICES: Requested services are contracted in advance and scheduled accordingly. If a reduction in services is sought, please email reneejbeauty@gmail.com as soon as possible. Any reduction in services that occurs less than 8 days prior to the event will not be removed from the total cost of services. Additional services requested may be added at the discretion and availability of the stylist.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed makeup application is acknowledgement by the client that the makeup is done to the client’s satisfaction.
USE OF IMAGE: Unless stated otherwise, Renée J. Beauty may use images from this event on their website, social media and/or in any brochure or flyer.
LIABILITY: All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every event. Any allergies and/or sensitivities should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
COVID PRECAUTION: Stylists are fully vaccinated and is masked during all bookings and in public settings. All guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority are followed to mitigate risks of infection, and we are very conscious of sanitation.
TRIAL/CONSULTATION: Renée offers a video consultation only, and it is included in your Wedding Package for the Bride/Broom/Groom. During the meeting Renée will ask questions about the big day: priorities, desired outcomes, vibe, look details, etc; it's where the magic happens! You'll discuss hair density, volume, cut, color, and texture, skin texture & needs. Please show up to this call barefaced if possible. During the consult, Renée will put words to the look you've dreamt up. She will also gather photos of your hair & face during the call to study and plan for the big day. This will be coordinated *about* a week prior to your event (+/- a few days based on your availability). After retainer is paid, you will be sent a link to book this call.
Additionally, if you’d like to book a “Renée J Slay“ for a look you are more than welcome to. Booking a Renée J Slay gives you a chance to bond with Renée (in addition to your included, pre-wedding video consultation) and experience her skill set and glam.
I recommend booking this for a dinner date, photoshoot, bachelorette party or night out etc.
