I'm Rachel and I'm so excited you're here! I first want to thank you for taking a few moments to complete this pre-consultation questionnaire.

The goal with this questionnaire is to get to know your hair and hair goals, which will help me determine if the extensions and/or toppers I offer would be a good solution for you. Completing this form will also help me determine the best method for you, narrow down a price range for your specific goals and help answer some of your questions along the way.

Let's chat about hair color!

I always select an extension/topper color identical to your hair color. If needed, I custom color the extension/ topper to match your hair perfectly. This is a HUGE part of what makes the services I offer so natural and seamless.

These photos will help determine if your hair can support the solutions I offer (don't worry, you don't need a lot!). 

Don't be nervous! I don't need to see your face, just your hair! Feel free to put an emoji over your face if you're not comfortable. This is solely to see your current hair and are for my eyes only, I won't share them!

• Must be photos of your current hair.
• Use your cell phone.
• It's way easier if someone else takes the photo for you, but you can also set your timer and take a step back to ensure ALL of your hair is in the photo.
• Take in natural lighting (no flashes, please).

Extension Cost & Maintenance

Getting Started

Your initial extension investment will depend on the method and the amount and length of the hair needed to achieve your hair goal. A new install can cost anywhere from $400-$2500+ based on these factors (now you see why a consultation is needed to determine pricing).

The more length you want to add will increase the amount of hair needed to achieve the goal and make it blend seamlessly, this is the biggest variable in cost. An in-person consultation is needed to get an accurate price for your initial extension investment. I will send you an email with how to schedule your in-person consultation after I review your form submission.

If you choose to proceed with your extension transformation a non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your installation appointment. The remaining balance will be due the day of service. The turnaround time from a consultation to an extension install appointment will depend on styist availability and is typically 1 or more weeks.

Maintenance

Invisible Bead Extensions (hand tied sew in)

IBE rows need to be moved up every 6-8 weeks depending on natural hair type. IBE maintenance cost is $200 per row.

How many rows you have will depend on how much length you’re adding.

1 row- adding density only- no additional length

2 rows- (most common) adding density and length to average density hair

3 rows- adding density and length to very thick hair and/or short hair.

Wefts are reusable for up to 9 months with proper home care.  After 9 months we can assess each weft and replace deteriorated wefts as needed.

Fusion (keratin bonds)

Fusion extensions can live in the hair 4-6 months without any in-salon maintenance then are removed and completely replaced at initial investment cost. The most common lifespan of a fusion install is 4 months as most guests prefer to replace after this amount of time.

Extension Home Care

Both extension methods require daily brushing (exception for curly hair) and use of a serum on the ends to add and retain hydration. It is highly recommended that the attachment point for both methods is thoroughly blow dried after washing. To ensure you get the most longevity out of your extension investment you’ll want to use moisturizing hair care with no sulfates. Goldie Locks hair care is my go-to for all extension care products.

Toppers Pricing and Maintenance Information 

MICROLINES

INITIAL INVESTMENT

Microline is a permanently attached topper that is integrated with and bonded to your bio hair using a polymer bonding ring.

The initial investment for Microlines is $2500*.

*Additional cost may apply for specialty pieces and custom orders such as perming.

This investment covers the Microline, custom coloring and/or prepping, the installation, cut, and style.

An in-person consultation is required to determine color and length of Microlines. I will send you an email with how to schedule your in-person consultation after I review your form submission.

If you choose to proceed with the service there is a non-refundable retainer due for 50% of the quoted price in order to book your appointment. The retainer goes towards the overall cost of the appointment, with the remaining balance due day of service. 

The turnaround time from a consultation to install will depend on stylist availabilty and shipping timelines but will be at least 1 week or longer if the Microline is on back order.

MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENTS

Maintence is required every 3-4 weeks. There are 2 types of maintenance appointments, a Tightening and a Reinstall.

A tightening takes place 3-4 weeks after your install.  It is a 30 minute appointment where I will tighten your Microline's existing attachments. This service is $50. If you add a wash & blowdry to this appointment the total cost is $110.

A Reinstall takes place 6-8 weeks after install (3-4 weeks after tightening). During this service I will remove and reinstall your Microline. This is the ideal time to color your hair too if needed. This service is $160 with a wash and blowdry.

Your Microline can last 18-24 months with a Refresh.  A Refresh is recomended after approximately 1 year of wear. During a refresh 30%-50% of the hair in your Microline is replaced. Pricing for this ranges between $750-$1000.

SkalpD Prosthetic 

Initial Investment

The SkalpD prosthetic is a custom hair piece made from a template made of your scalp to ensure proper fitting based on head size and shape. The SkalpD can be made in any size from a small patch to a whole head system. Because the SkalpD is custom made price varies based on the size and length but ranges from $500-$4750. An in person consultation is required so we can create the scalp template and determine pricing. Once the template is sent off the turnaround time is approximately 8 weeks. Your initial investment will include the SkalpD prosthetic, customization, and install.

Maintenance

The SkalpD prosthetc is glued to your hair and scalp using a medical grade adhesive. Every 4-5 weeks in-salon maintenance is required to remove, clease, and reapply your SkalpD. This appointment takes 90 minutes and costs $200.

The SkalpD will shed hair over time and will need to be repaired at around 6-9 months (depending on home care) for a cost of $300-$600 depending on how much hair needs to be added. For this reason we suggest investing a secondary SkalpD prosthetic to use in the interim.

CROWN COLLECTION

The Crown is a temporary topper that is attached and removed per your preference using secure clips. The investment for a Crown is $1600. This includes the Crown piece, custom coloring, initial fitting, cutting and styling to blend, instruction of how to apply yourself. An in-person consultation is required for color matching purposes. A 50% non-refundable retainer is rewuired to secure your Crown and custom fitting appoinment.

There is no in-salon maintenace required for the Crown, however, you may bring it in for a color refresh if needed. Your Crown will need to be removed to sleep, swim, shower, or during any rigorous activty that may cause it to shift. You should remove your crown to wash and style as needed.
