    Upper Room Worship Center | To be completed by Event Leader.
  • In order to secure an event on the approved Upper Room Worship Center master calendar, this form must be completed.The following steps should be followed to ensure proper coordination and maximum success of the proposed event. Discuss with and receive appoval from Ministry Leader for this event. Please complete & submit this form at least 30 days prior to event to ensure all necessary modes of coordination have been achieved. Please note that if you submit your event later than the requested 30 days, we may or may not be able to accomodate your requests.   Please do not advertise the event until you have received confirmation and approval.  Please note that the information you provide on the form is the only information we have to promote your event.  Please contact events@theur.net with any questions.

    Facility Use – URWC does not generally open its facilities to public outside use however, URWC may make its facilities available to approved non-member persons and groups as a witness to our faith, in the spirit of Christian charity, and asa means of demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the local community. However, at no time will the facilities ofURWC be used by persons or groups holding, advancing or advocating for beliefs or practices that conflict with URWC’s Statement of Faith/ Belief Statement, doctrines or moral teachings, or for activities that contradict, or are deemed inconsistent with, URWC’s Statement of Faith/ BeliefStatement, doctrines and moral teachings, or the message URWC wishes to communicate to the outside community.The Elder Board is the final decision-maker concerning use of URWC facilities.

    We will try our best to help partner and help resource your event, however, with our limited staff, it is the Event Leader who is ultimately responsible for recruiting the help needed for their event, acquiring the necessary permissions/trainings to utilize any requested equipment, and leaving the facilities used in the same or better condition as they were prior to the event.

  • IMPORTANT NOTES:  Set-up/clean-up must be organized by the Event Leader. Trash should be taken to dumpsters and new bags replaced.  Floors/Chairs/Counters/Bathrooms should be spot checked (ie...remove large trash items/crumbs/spills).
