Rat Pricing
Basic coats/colors: Rex, BEW, Blaze = $30
Other Varieties: Double Rex, DR(Hairless), Marten, Siamese, Silvermane = $50-$75
This form must be read through and signed before a deposit is accepted.
We are a closed rattery and do not allow people inside of our home. Nor do we allow rats to be picked out in person, due to putting our colony at risk of disease/illness.
We will not be adopting out rats that are intended for minors under the age of 16.
We do not sell single rats, a purchase two or more is mandatory unless you are a returning adopter.
Non-Refundable deposit to hold is 50% of your total adoption fee with the remainder due at 6 weeks of age.
Do not send a deposit before being asked.
Rats will not be held without a deposit.
Rats must be picked up within 14 days of being contacted for pickup or the adoption will be void and the reserved rats will be placed back up for adoption.
Rats of the opposite sex will only be sold on a case by case basis and will have separate requirements.
If unable to go through with the adoption all fees are non-refundable, as all money goes back into the rattery.

No shows without prior communication will forfeit their right to do business with us.
STR offers a lifetime guarantee in which we accept all rat surrenders in any period of their life. All surrenders will be worked with on a case by case basis.
If an adopted rat passes unexpectedly, let us know immediately as we may require your vet to perform a necropsy to determine cause of death.
In signing this form you are acknowledging that:
1. You have read and understand the policy listed above.
2. Any rats adopted will not be bred and are pets only.
3. Rats require a lot of attention and care. They are very messy creatures and require weekly or even daily cleaning to prevent the spread of illness.
4. Rats are prone to illnesses such as; cancers, respiratory infections and mites/lice.
- RI’s, Mites and Lice are common if you are not taking proper sanitary precautions.
5. We are not liable for any illnesses that can be spread from rat to human such as but not limited to; RBF, Seoul etc.
