Equipment InsuranceHire insurance is available for $3 per person, per day.Hire insurance covers accidental damage sustained to the equipment during normal use but does not cover theft, loss or negligence.This charge only covers ski or snowshoe packages. Booking ConditionsDeposit & Full Payment: a 100% deposit is required at the time of booking. Payment can be made via card over the phone or you can opt to be sent a payment link.Cancellations: Cancellation of this booking will incur a $30 cancellation fee, if your booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior, the entire deposit is retained.If the lesson or tour is cancelled by our staff/guide/instructor due to weather or lack of snow, then a refund is given less a $30 administration fee per booking IF we cannot reschedule.If your travel is affected due to COVID quarantine and as a result you have to cancel your booking, you are entitled to a full refund less a $30 administration fee. Alternatively, we can postpone your booking or offer you a store credit. The 48 hour notice period does not apply to those affected by COVID but we do ask that you give us as much notice as you can.Transfers: We do provide a gear shuttle service between stores. Only advisable if you are certain of your sizes (especially boots!) as we cannot swap sizing once transferred.A $10 per set transfer fee is applied, each direction. We will gladly transfer lesson & tour bookings up to 7 days prior to trip departure. Hire AgreementI agree to be bound by the following conditions:1. I, the "hirer", am liable for the replacement costs of lost or stolen equipment and damage caused by inappropriate use outside of the limitations of the equipment designers intended use.2. Insurance covers accidental damage of equipment during normal use, it does not cover theft, loss, or damage caused by negligence.3. Equipment must be returned by COB to the store you hired from on the last day of hire. Late fees apply for each day the equipment is late and will be charged daily to the card details given for bond unless alternative arrangements are made prior.4. Equipment not returned 5 days after return date stated on this form will have the cost of the equipment not returned plus overdue hire fees charged to the card details given for bond.5. All climbing skins must be returned in the condition in which they were hired out. Skins are expected to be returned clean & free of grass, debris & liquids (i.e. diesel from access roads). Skins returned dirty will incur a cleaning charge of $50 & significant damage requiring re-glueing will incur a charge of $150 per pair.6. There will be a cleaning fee charged of $25 per pair for any skis with Klister or Grip wax applied to and not removed.7. Jindabyne equipment returned to our Perisher Store (or vice versa) is BY ARRANGEMENT ONLY and will incur a $10 per set transfer fee each way.8. I understand there are no refunds for early return of equipment.9. I understand that the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 will imply into my agreement with Wilderness Sports and that I will have the benefit of certain warranties which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Waiver of LiabilityWilderness Sports Pty Limited (hereinafter referred to W.S.) and the various land management authorities who grant the licence to operate this adventure trip being the Licensor.In consideration of W.S. accepting my application for, and being permitted to go on the adventure trip in the land owned by the Licensor or elsewhere, I agree to this release of claims, waiver of liability and assumption of risk (collectively, this agreement).I understand that the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (formerly the Trade Practices Act 1974) will imply into my contract with W.S., and that I will have the benefit of certain warranties which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified and, in particular, warranties that: 1. the services to be supplied by W.S. will be rendered with due care and skill and that any material supplied in connection with those services will be reasonably fit for the purpose for which they are supplied and 2. where I make known to W.S., expressly or by implication, the particular purpose for which I require the services or the result I desire the services to achieve, the services and any material supplied in connection with those services will be reasonably fit for that particular purpose or will be of a nature and quality that might reasonably be expected to achieve that result, except where the circumstances show that I do not rely or that it is unreasonable for me to rely on the skill or waive any and all “other” rights and any claims resulting there from I may now and in the future have against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue, W.S. and its officers, employees, guides, agents or representatives (collectively, its staff) or the Licensor for any personal injury, death, property damage, or loss sustained by me as a result of my participation in an adventure trip with W.S., due to any cause whatsoever, including without any limitation, negligence at common law on the part of W.S., its staff or the Licensor.I am aware that your adventure trip, in addition to usual and inherent risks, has certain additional risks and dangers of which may include;Physical exertion for which I may not be prepared, remoteness to normal medical services, Weather extremes subject to sudden and unexpected change, evacuation difficulties if I am disabled.I accept all the inherent risks of the proposed adventure trip and possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting there from.
