The festival of Sukkot begins on Monday, October 6 at nightfall. It is a Mitzvah (biblical commandment) to recite a blessing and bring together the "4 Species," symbolizing the unity of all different types of Jews. These species include the Lulav, Etrog, Haddasim, and Aravot.
