VentureLab Spark Startup Program Mentor Application
The Spark Mentorship & Materials Program provides a four-month mentorship program to help youth ages 8-18 start or scale up their business. This program is best for youth with an existing business idea and looking for guidance and resources to grow as a young entrepreneur.

As a mentor, you will guide a participant to grow their entrepreneurial mindset and business idea in the course of a semester (10-15 hours total).

We provide all the necessary training and mentors receive a stipend of $300 at the end of the program.

Spark Mentor Commitment

Attend Mandatory Training Session - end of January (time and day TBD)
Prep to feel comfortable leading the sessions

1. Lead four, 1-hour mentor sessions with a participant
- Mentor Session 1 Window: February 5-9
- Mentor Session 2 Window: March 4-8
- Mentor Session 3 Window: April 1-5
- Mentor Session 4 Window: April 29- May 3
2. Facilitate session with an entrepreneur - Session Window: April 8-19

3. Meet with the VentureLab team in between sessions (Day of week subject to change)
- Check-In 1 - February 12
- Check-In 2 - March 11
- Check-In 3 - April 8
- Wrap up - May 13
4. Attend the Spark Graduation - May 8 @ 6:00-7:00 pm CST
