  • LLB League will enforce the following practice and tournament attendance policy for every athlete. This is not intended to prevent an Athlete from playing for their school team while participating with LLB. This policy is intended to enhance team chemistry and instill accountability as a team member. Attendance at practices and tournaments may affect playing time and/or team membership status.

General Attendance Policy: It is the responsibility of the Athlete or the parents to notify the coach of any scheduled team event that the Athlete will be missing with at least 4 hours notice for practices, and 24 hours notice for tournaments.

LLB Team season runs ALL YEAR ROUND

TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS (Days are subject to change, advanced notice will be given to parents) Weekly scrimmages 2 Tournaments per month * At the start of each week, parents and players will be given notice of any additional practices.

Practice - All Practices are Mandatory. Under special circumstances, exceptions can be made for schoolwork or homework. However, It is the Athlete's responsibility to balance schoolwork with team practice. If an Athlete accumulates TWO(2) absences(unrelated to illness) in THIRTY(30) days, we will conduct a review to determine if that Athlete should remain with the team. Being more than 30 minutes late to practice counts as an absence.

Tournaments / Games - Participation in each game is critical to the success of every athlete and and to the team as a whole. Missing part of any game counts as 1 absence. Attendance at National Qualifiers, Regionals and championship games is mandatory. The Coaching Director/league Director will evaluate all absences with proper documentation on a case-by-case basis.

  • It is the intent of LLB to become and continue to be a well-respected leader in the sports community. Furthermore, it is also our intent to lead by example. LLB athletes, parents and supporters are also expected to lead by example. The following guidelines are set forth to protect the safety and integrity of players, parents, Coaches and the LLB league. Please be aware that it is impossible to account for all possible circumstances, however, in the event of any inappropriate actions on the part of players, parents or coaches, the Director will enforce appropriate action.

NOTE: All Policies listed here, where appropriate, are for Athletes AND parents.

    1. Proper nutrition is essential. Practices and games are very demanding and players need to be at their physical best in order to be fully functioning and successful. At all times, it is very important to stay well hydrated and to eat nutritional meals and snacks. It is the athlete's and parent's responsibility to remain focused on healthy eating practices throughout the season.

    2. Athletes are to support teammates at all times while on the team bench, whether you are playing in the game or not. Poor bench behavior includes not expressing verbal/vocal taunting for your teammates or opposing teams, conducting side conversations that are disrutive to the game, distracting teammates, disrupting the game with inappropriate discussion with the Coach/Coaches or refs, or questioning playing time or status during the game.

3.Equal playing time is NOT a guarantee. Coaches are given the flexibility to evaluate athletes during practices on a weekly basis. Playing time during games is earned during practice. If you have questions about playing time, set up a time to discuss the situation with the Coach before or after the game or at the coach's earliest conveinence.

    4. Un-sportsman-like behavior will not be tolerated at any LLB function/event. This includes but is not limited to behaviors such as the use of foul language, angry outbursts, and rude gestures towards other athletes, parents, coaches, officials or opponents. Profanity and physical violence are strictly prohibited during any Lifeline practice or game.

  • 5. Parents are discouraged from "Coaching" their athletes during games. The athletes should be focused on what their LLB Coaches have to say with respect to the team and game.

    6. Parents and spectators are expected to be supportive of the entire team - at all times. Parents and spectators are not to taunt or excessively critize the players any time. Guidelines for Parents and spectators are no different from the team players  in this regard.

    7. If for any reason an Athlete is removed from a game without permission from the Head Coach, that player wil be removed from the team indefinitely. Any outstanding payments will due immediately and no refunds will be given for payments already paid to LLB.

    8. Only the Head Coach or the Team Captain, under the direction of the Head Coach, may question an official during a game, no exceptions.

    9. Players are not permitted to wear school team attire to games or any LLB scheduled events. LLB Uniforms are mandatory at all home and away games. Any player that does not have their full uniform will not be allowed to play unless a uniform was not provided.
