Shelby Shelter is a 401(c)3 with the goal to spread awareness, find forever homes, and raise funds for dogs originally from China. These three roles are essential for Shelby Shelter so we appreciate you for applying! That being said, Shelby Shelter is currently looking for volunteers for 3 positions: Head of Directory, Web Developer, and Executive Assistant. The position for Web Developer will be the only one where we may take more than one candidate. If you have any questions, please email micah@shelbyshelter.org.
Head of Directory
(6hrs or more p/w) Responsible for adding information to each volunteer’s schedule for the directory, interacting with volunteers for utmost efficiency, attending our monthly meetings, communicating with the executive director about any information for your section, and creating a strategic plan to promote our directory.
Web Developer
(4hrs or more p/w) *we will be accepting 1-2* Responsible for updating our website, fixing any bugs/issues, communicating with the web development team about any issues or ideas, and reporting back to head of web development.
Executive Assistant
(5hrs or more p/w) Responsible for communicating with our collaborative rescue group, sending out information to volunteers and potential partners, attending our monthly meets, and assisting the executive director by any means possible.
