Prepare your Device for Repair/Service
We only need your device. Please remove any accessories and USB dongles and cards from your device before bringing them to the repair depot unless they are related to the problem.
Unless you are experiencing power-related issues or it is a rare/uncommon device we will not require your power adapter or cables.
You should always back up any crucial data before repair if you do not already have it backed up. Bill & Dave Computer Repair does not accept any liability for data, however, we are happy to help you recover or protect it.
If we need to log in to the device for any reason, please remove your passwords or provide login credentials on pickup or drop-off. If a password is needed, we would prefer you change your password to something temporary for the time it is in our care. You should always change your password if anyone aside from yourself has knowledge of it.
Once we have your device at our repair depot we will disinfect, visually inspect, record device info (sn#/pn#,ect.), place it in a numbered bin, and apply a temporary ID label for identification while your device is in our care.
