  • Thank you for attending our adoption and foster event and for your interest in offering a deserving doggy a home!

    Our process is quick, simple and transparent - just 3 simple steps!

    STEP 1: fill this short online form

    STEP 2: a chat to get to know each other a little better & obtain pre-approval to move forward (we will try and do this at the event today but may need to schedule a call this week)

    STEP 3: we'll recommend doggies suited to your home for you to meet and hopefully take home! If you've met a dog today you're specially interested in, please mention it on this form

    It should take no more than a few minutes & should reach our volunteers as soon as you hit submit!

    Filling the form does not commit you to anything or mean you need to take a dog home today - it just starts the process which you can take at your own pace.

    Please note before taking the time to fill the form that almost all of our dogs are MEDIUM SIZED & MIXED BREEDS.

  • I the undersigned agree to the following terms and conditions - please read these terms carefully and ensure you agree to them before completing your application:

    • I understand that welcoming a new dog into the home is a big commitment and requires time and patience and that this is especially true for young puppies - it is something I have thought through carefully and I have prepared for, including understanding relevant training techniques
    • I understand that I will commit to a mutually agreed period of foster or a 4 week trial adoption. If for any reason I am unable to follow through with this committment (with the exception of severe or extenuating circumstances), I understand that I need to give a minimum notice of 14 days to return the dog to the rescuer, in order for a solution to be found - we are a high volume rescue and cannot accommodate immediate returns
      • I understand that if I do not adhere to the 14 day notice, I will be liable to sponsor two weeks in boarding for the dog at a cost of 600 AED - this option is not possible for young puppies or dogs that are not fully vaccinated
    • I agree that the animal is being adopted / fostered by myself and will not be sold, adopted, or given to another party
    • I agree that the animal will not be outdoors without supervision
    • I agree when taking my dog outdoors, s/he will be on a secure harness & leash and where advised, a second leash attached to the collar (no extendable leashes, no slip leashes). I will ensure that I take all measures to keep the dog safe, understanding that the dog may be fearful or easily spooked on walks. I understand that if I do not adhere to this and the dog is lost due to negligence / not following these instructions, the dog will be removed from the home
    • I agree that this dog is to be a companion animal, not a guard dog. The dog will live inside my home as a family pet.
    • I agree to care for the animal in a humane manner. This includes supplying adequate food, water, shelter, attention, and medical care.
      • I agree that I will follow the feeding guidelines provided by the rescuer and will not change their food during the foster / trial adoption period without consulting the team first
      • I understand that during the foster period or trial adoption period (first 4 weeks) vet bills are covered by Animals & Us but the team MUST be notified as soon as possible and that bills will only be covered at our vet partner, Petzone Vet Clinic (SZR)
    • I understand and agree that the rescuer can make no guarantees about the animal's temperament and is not responsible for future damages or injuries caused by the animal
    • I give the rescuer permission to call or visit my home, with prior arrangement, to assure that the animal is being properly treated and cared for
    • The rescuer will have the right to remove a puppy/dog if they feel the environment is considered to be unsafe, unloving or unhealthy for the puppy/dog
    • If the dog is lost or dies, the person is obliged to inform the rescuer as soon as possible
    • I agree to keep the rescuer informed of my current home address and phone number
    • I agree that all statements I have made on this form are true

    It is acknowledged that the type written signature provided is the same as a hand written signature, thus legal and binding
