Application Requirements

Completed application form
Four essays (150 words each)
Two recommendations from a teacher and/or guidance counselor (Please complete your application with enough time for recommendations to be submitted seperately by your teachers/counselors)
Most recent semester's high school or transcript (Transcripts are submitted if and when the student is invited to interview. We encourage you to request your copy as early as possible since it may take the school some time to provide students a copy. If the school will not provide the student a copy they can send it directly to KappaLeagueAdmissions@gmail.com. It is the responsibility of the applicants to make sure this it done in a timely manner for interviews)

Parent involvement and support is critical to every Kappa Leaguer's success in the program. Parents MUST be able and willing to ensure their student's attendance and full participation in program meetings and activities. This includes, but is not limited to, arranging student drop-off and pick-up, ensuring students have proper professional attire, reviewing and signing student progress reports, and making sure all materials are submitted for College Tour, Study Abroad, Chicago Scholars and any other opportunities that mayarise. Additionally, parents are expected to attend all parent meetings.
