Background Information & Eligibility Critera
DUE: Monday, April 28

As part of the OCDSB's partnership with the Jeju Provincial Office of Education, 4 ICP students have been invited to particate in the 15th Annual Jeju Youth Forum this October 29 - November.

The tentative itinerary is:

Friday, October 24: Ottawa to Seoul

October 25 - 27: Seoul guided tour and exploration

October 28 - November 1: Fly to Jeju and attend the Youth Forum

November 2: Fly Jeju to Seoul and on to Ottawa

Students will be accompanied throughout the time by a chaperone.

Approximate Cost is ~$3300 - $3500 depending upon flights and includes all accomodations, flights, mandatory travel insurance and most meals.

Before submitting your application, please ensure that you clearly understand both the Eligibility Criteria and Application Requirements. You will need to be okay missing 8 days of classes here in Ottawa.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In order to be considered for this program, you must:
- Be a full-time current student (this year and next year) registered in the OCDSB’s International Certificate Program;
- Be proficient in English (the language of instruction at the Jeju Youth Forum);
- Have an excellent work ethic and ability to work and learn independently;
- Have an interest in Global Citizenship Education;
- Have completed the Reference Checks;
- Have completed and signed the application.
