Artspace offers the following programs and teaching opportunities:
Connect + Create at Dix Park (All Ages)
Artspace has teamed up with Dorothea Dix Park to offer off-site classes at the Dorothea Dix Park Chapel. These classes are one day, 1.5 hour long workshops where participants explore a new medium and create a unique product with a local artist! This program is free and open to all ages.
Adult Classes + Workshops (Ages 16+)
Artspace offers Adult Classes + Workshops for ages 16+. A workshop would be a one day event, versus a class, which may be multiple days or weeks long. We offer classes in specialty mediums and processes, and can accomodate messier mediums with outdoor spaces as needed. We especially enjoy connecting our Adult Classes to exhibitions or events happening at Artspace!
Summer Art Camps (Grades K-8)
Artspace hosts 8-weeks of fun and creativity during our Summer Art Camp program for Grades K-8. We offer weeklong summer art camps in various mediums, taught by professional artists, who lead students in the creative process, encourage exploration, and produce one-of-a-kind projects! While creating, students have the opportunity to meet working artists and view exhibitions from national and international exhibiting artists in our unique facility in downtown Raleigh.
*Please note, a separate application must be submitted for Summer Art Camp proposals.
Field Trip + Guided Tour Program (All Ages)
Artspace offers a guided tour program, with a 45 minute tour and 45 minute art activity, adaptable for ages 5+. This program does have a set curriculum that instructors would be provided with, in addition to training.
$40/hr for Adult Classes (Ages 16+ and All Ages)
$30/hr for Youth Classes (Ages 15 and Under)
