As part of your rehabilitation, we offer referral services through the Brain Injury Association of America, Tennessee Chapter. This confidential and voluntary telephone follow-up service DOES NOT REPLACE any medical or rehabilitation follow-up care that you may need. It is intended to provide you and your family with information about brain injury and assistance in accessing services and supports.
Service Coordinators can help:
- Navigate and provide referrals to available resources
- Facilitate support groups
- Coordination of services
- Individual advocacy
A service coordinator cannot:
- Diagnose or treat brain injury
- Prescribe or recommend drugs or therapies
- Answer medical questions
- Directly provide financial resources
The Brain Injury Association of American (BIAA), Tennessee Chapter is a separate non-profit organization and not a part of or affiliated with the state of Tennessee TBI program.
