  • Class Tour Request Form

It is our preference to schedule classes in the morning before 12:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, when we open to the public, or Mondays when we are closed to the public. However, we understand that classes meet at specific times, and we will do our best to accommodate your request and welcome you to the Carpenter Center.

We encourage faculty and other instructors to familiarize themselves with our exhibition on view before requesting a class visit. You can browse our offerings by clicking here.

To place a request for a visit, please submit the following form at least 2 weeks before the date of your desired visit. Please understand that it can be difficult for us to accept short-notice requests. We will do our best to accommodate each request, but occasionally due to scheduling or staffing constraints, some requests cannot be accommodated.

Please email Kate Kelley, Communications and Administrative Coordinator (kate_kelley@fas.harvard.edu) if you experience any problem with this form.

  • Please review our health and safety guidelines below, before submitting your request.

Our priority remains the health and safety of our visitors and staff.  We have implemented new and enhanced health and safety protocols in line with the CDC, Massachusetts Public Health, and Harvard University guidelines. We will continue to assess and adjust our health and safety protocols as guidelines evolve. Please check back regularly for the most updated information about visiting the Carpenter Center.

By entering the galleries, you agree to follow these health and safety guidelines:

    • Masks and Proof of Vaccination Required
    • All visitors, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask, at all times. This is required for all visitors over age 2 and all staff. Masks must fit snugly against the sides of the face, reach above the nose, below the chin, and completely cover the mouth and nose. If you forgot your mask, we are happy to give you one!
    • To ensure all of our visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test administered within the previous 72 hours will be required for visiting the exhibition.
    • Please do not enter the galleries if you aren’t feeling well, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, if you’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. You can watch an interview with the exhibition’s artists from home.

    Upon Arrival
Please maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet from others. Use the hand sanitizer station located at the entrance to galleries and wash hands frequently.
