At RealTalk, we aim to establish an environment that is both fun to have conversations and onethat allows for everyone to meaningfully engage in polarizing discussions. As a part of theUniversity of Toronto and Victoria College’s Privacy Policy, students are expected to respect theprivacy of their peers. All RealTalk members are expected to respect the rights of one another.All members are also expected to respect the privacy of other members on calls.I have read, understood and agreed to the information presented below.
I agree to the following:
Will encourage a diversity of opinions on all topics
Will participate in maintaining a safe, respectful environment for & with all colleagues
Will practice active, effective listening skills
Will respect my privacy, as well as those around me
Will not misuse or be careless with confidential or sensitive information about others’ experiences
Will never record any conversations on online video-conferencing platforms without the informed and expressed consent of all those recorded and the executive team
Will never share recordings of conversations on online video-conferencing platforms without the informed and expressed consent of all those recorded and the leadership team of RealTalk
Will not discuss or publicly share conversations and perspectives brought forward in RealTalk meetings in a manner that is out of the context of the original conversation
I understand that failure to meet these criteria will result in my immediate and effective removal from my membership in RealTalk
