compensation for internet costs, website maintenance and online support for the movement, including remuneration of experts and regular advocacy meetings and awareness campaigns etc.
Membership fees:
There are two membership fees: Individual and Institutional
Individual by age
- Adolescents (10-19): $ 25 / year or 12,500 CFA
Young Women (20-35): $ 50 / year or 25,000 CFA
Individual (+35): $ 100 / year or 50,000 CFA
Institutional
Network / njangi / Org: $ 300 / year or 150,000 CFA

Benefits of membership:
- Member's work is profiled in updates and through GenEgaliteECCAS website/social media pages
- Members works are acknowledged in advocacy materials that are widely distributed
- Members to have access to a diverse group of dynamic and influential contacts, professional mentors, with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences including funding agencies
- Receive email updates about events, campaigns, lectures, resources, and professional development activities around gender equality
Participation in strategic meetings including annual meetings with other coalition members
- Eligible to submit proposals in collaboration with the coalition
Have formal affiliation with GenEgaliteECCAS platform and access to exclusive
- GenEgaliteECCAS programs, opportunities and events in certain critical spaces
- Benefit direct access to resources, networking opportunities, funding, materials and information related to advancing women’s rights across Africa
Responsibilities of GenEgaliteECCAS towards Members:
- Invite individuals/organization members to provide input and guidance regarding the strategic development of the GenEgaliteECCAS program.
- Provide space and time to co-create and develop all GenEgaliteECCAS events and advocacy campaigns.
- Share regular updates regarding the progress of the program including funding opportunities and referrals
- Pair and match mentoring sessions and strategic opportunities and events for membership growth and capacity strengthening
- Include member logos in all external GenEgaliteECCAS promotion and communications as it relates to relevant events and campaigns.
Responsibilities of members towards GenEgaliteECCAS:
- When requested, provide input and strategic guidance in a timely manner as it relates to the programmatic work of the GenEgaliteECCAS.
- Attend meetings including virtual sessions and calls for the co-creation of events and advocacy campaigns across ECCAS
- Contribute to the development and expansion of the GenEgaliteECCAS by supporting and facilitating outreach to targeted constituents
- Support the GenEgaliteECCAS commitment to greater inclusion, regional representation, and diversity.
- Circulate and share information about GenEgaliteECCAS work with your networks and platforms
- Volunteer and provide between 10 and 15 hours a month for office hour work for GenEgaliteECCAS

no academic qualifications needed, no professional or any formal experience needed except for your love, interest, enthusiasm and passion to advocate for an equal future for women
- Demonstrate great team spirit and ability to deliver tasks committed to
- Proud to self-identified as a member of the platform
- Believes in the total equality of women and girls without distinction and discrimination on grounds of age, ethnicity, nationality, identity etc
NB: Memberships can be cancelled if members are unable to adhere to the aforementioned conditions
