~ There will be two (2) classes scheduled at the same time, please read the difference between Lecture and Workshop style classes below.
~ There will be panel discussions, you may be asked to join one or more of them.
~ Presentation proposals that offer handout materials will be given priority during the selection process.
Topic Tracks:
Presentations are held each afternoon Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are currently accepting presentation proposals. There are two tracks for the event, and we are looking for topics that fit into each of these:
Novice Track – Learner / Beginner Topics – this track includes all the beginning topics, special interest, deck/system specific, general divination, etc.
Adept Track – Intermediate / Advanced Topics – this one is for the those that want the next level and all “beyond basics” topics, etc.
Master Track – Professional, Tarot / Oracle Deck Creators and Author Topics – all topics related to creating decks, writing books, the creative process, reading professionally, how-to, business resources, etc.
Class Types:
We have two types of classes offered: Lectures (PowerPoint presentations for up to 75 attendees) and Workshops (hands-on activity-based classes for up to 75 attendees).
Lecture PowerPoint Presentations: These classes are focused on lecture topics and the rooms will be equipped with a screen and projector. A classroom style layout is used with tables and chairs. We highly recommend including activities and handouts in the lecture style presentations.
Hands-on Activity Workshops: These classrooms will be equipped with a screen and projector. A classroom style layout is used with tables and chairs. We highly recommend including handouts. This type of class is focused on hands-on activities such as exchanging tarot readings, learning card layouts, creative projects, games, and other forms of interactive learning.
Proposal Submissions:
All submissions are juried to ensure a wide variety of topics and presentation styles. Presentation lengths are 60 minutes, please keep this in mind when submitting your workshop for consideration. You may submit multiple presentations and/or class types. (lecture and/or workshop) We also strongly encourage handout materials to accompany your class.
