DC DIELECTRIC TEST FORM

The Voltgard® Test Lab can now test rubber insulating gloves with DC (direct current) for use with electric vehicles and other DC powered systems.All rubber insulating gloves are tested by the manufacturer prior to shipment at AC (alternating current) voltages for general use. We recommend testing rubber insulating PPE as close as possible to the environment where it will beused. For certain applications, this ihncludes DC Testing of rubber insulating gloves. The applications include, but are not limited to:

Electric vehicles (EV), both fully electric and plug-in hybrid
Renewable power generation (wind and solar particularly)
Electrified mass transit and transportation

Gloves tested by Voltgard with DC are clearly marked with the DC Maximum Use Voltage.

Please advise the quantity of PAIRS of rubber insulating gloves that you are returning for test (combine all lengths and colors). If you would like to provide a more detailed product breakdown, please attach an additional sheet. All counts will be verified upon receipt and again before return shipment.

In accordance with OSHA regulations and ASTM Specificaitons, gloves will be marked indicating that a DC Test was performed, the Maximum DC Use Voltage, the Date of Test, and the Return for Test date.

How would you like us to handle any products that fail inspection or testing?

Please return our failed goods (If not, we will hold them for 30 days in case you change your mind and want to review. After 30 days we will dispose of them for recycling so they do not end up in a landfill. Please replace failed goods automatically with new products Please notify us of failures prior to shipping

Please pack your rubber goods properly! Over-stacking and pressing can put stress on the rubber and lead to premature failure.
