  • I understand my child/ren's annual or term bus fare will be charged to my School fee account in advance of travel each term in accordance with the School Fees & Charges Conditions. Any casual trips will be charged to the School fee account at the end of the respective term.

  • Charter bus terms conditions 

    • Chartered school buses to and from school will be permitted to carry students in Year 3 to Year 12; and students in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 only when travelling accompanied by an older sibling attending school in Year 3 to Year 12.
    • Bus pass charges will be billed automatically to the parents school fee account unless cancelled/amended according to the fees & charges schedule
    • Usage is monitored via the tap on/tap off system. All students are required to tap on and off the bus for each trip using their school provided student ID card.
    • Trips over the nominated usage will be charged at the casual single trip rate.
    • Replacement student ID cards will incur a $10 charge to the parent school fee account.
    • Students are not permitted to punch holes or bend their student ID cards as this may damage the card.
    • Any student failing to observe these terms and conditions will forfeit any use of the bus service.

    Student behaviour on the bus

    • Students using the School charter bus service are bound by the School Student expectations of behaviour as found on the Yarra Valley Grammar Portal.
    • Students are expected to exhibit the highest standard of courtesy and behaviour while using the charter bus service for reasons of safety and wellbeing of all passengers and the driver.
    • Any student failing to observe these expected behaviour standards will forfeit any use of the bus service.
    • Whilst in the bus, students should conduct themselves in an orderly manner:
      • Always follow instructions from the driver about safety on the bus
      • Show bus pass or student ID on request
      • Sit properly on a seat (in an allocated seat if directed by the driver) with seatbelt fastened
      • Store school bags under the seat or in appropriate luggage areas
      • Speak quietly and do not create unnecessary noise
      • Use technology responsibly and do not harass or bully any other person using technology 
    • It is not appropriate or acceptable for students to:
      • Bully or harass other students or the driver
      • Place feet on seats
      • Fight, spit or use offensive language
      • Throw any item around or from the bus
      • Consume food or drink or play loud music 
      • Smoke or vape (prohibited on all buses)
      • Travel under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs
      • Allow any part of their body to protrude from the bus windows or doors
      • Stand while the bus is moving
      • Distract drivers
