High School Diploma or the equivalent - college degree preferred but not required
Willingness and ability to pass a comprehensive employment background check and drug screening
Valid US Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Own a fully insured dependable vehicle
Non-smoker
Proficient in English (read, write, speak)
I can provide reference contact information for the past 3-5 years of employment
I am CPR/First Aid certified, or I am willing to complete a CPR/First aid course

To be considered for a newborn care specialist position through The Nanny Joynt, all candidates must meet the following requirements: (if you do not meet these qualifications please uncheck "Newborn Care Specialist" above)

Be at least 21 years of age
3 years of relevant professional experience (as a newborn care specialist, night nanny, doula, or newborn/infant nanny)
Experience working as a newborn care specialist/doula/night nanny with at least 3 clients who can provide a reference
Vast knowledge of newborn care, including knowledge of feeding, bathing, and dressing infants, preparing, cleaning and sanitizing bottles
Experience and knowledge surrounding gentle sleep conditioning, establishing routines, feeding routines, and developmental milestones
Newborn care specialist training, preferably through Newborn Care Solutions or another accredited program
Understanding of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines and best practices for newborn care and safe sleep practices
Willingness and commitment to be paid legally, either as a W-2 employee or as an independent contractor through your own LLC
