Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Chimney Mountain Chihuahuas, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time. APPROVAL AND HOLDING FEE: We will review applications within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit for the puppy, we will notify you and then at that point, we will accept a holding fee. Please pay the holding fee within 24 hours of receiving the approval as the puppy will not be held longer than that. We only accept a holding fee on a specific puppy. The holding fee is non-refundable unless there is an issue with the health of the puppy. In this case, you will have the option of a refund or transfer of the fee to a different puppy. GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable time frame. Puppy needs to be picked up or shipped before 10 weeks of age unless agreed upon by both Buyer and Breeder at the time of the placement of the holding fee. CONTRACT: We have a purchase agreement and will not place a puppy without a signed purchase agreement. We believe it's the professional thing to do to have everything in writing so there are no questions later. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to putting a deposit on a puppy. REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our puppies are sold as pets with limited AKC registration unless agreed upon by the breeder at the time of the deposit. The buyer understands and agrees that any puppy purchased with full AKC registration should have Chimney Mtn’s as a prefix to their AKC registered name. If you fail to do so, this contract will be submitted to AKC and the name will be corrected to include the prefix. The buyer also understands and agrees that a puppy sold with full AKC registration has been evaluated by the breeder as a show/breeding prospect but NO guarantee is being made as far as future breeding/showing ability.
