  • INTRODUCTORY RITES

    5 altar servers are needed for the Liturgy with Bishop.

  • Gloria is always sung on Sunday (except In Advent & Lent), Solemnities, Feasts, and Ritual Mass even in Advent & Lent.

  • FOR SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

  • During the Ritual of Anointing

    Music, either instrumental or singing in the low voice, during the confirmand receive the anointing. Be sure to have ample music selection depending on the number of confirmand.

  • If other than Solemnity or Sunday please provide the following Liturgical Rite:

  • Readings: Please check the diocesan website under Confirmation from Liturgy & Worship for selections of first and second readings if other than Sunday. The gospel for confirmation during weekdays will be changed according to each year by the Bishop. Please refer to your confirmed letter of schedule for detail information of the Weekday Gospel.

  • Universal Prayers specific for Confirmation is published on the Diocesan Website under Liturgy & Worship Page.

    Preparation for Ritual: Coordinator of Confirmation need to rehearse with candidates of the ritual so they may know to respond in the ritual.  Please provide confirmation name tag to student for Bishop calling their name during anointing.

  • FOR THE ORDER OF CHRISTIAN FUNERAL

    The introductory rites and final commendation is layout below:

    INTRODUCTORY RITES:

    • Greeting & Reception of the body at the entrance
    • Sprinkling with Holy Water
  • FINAL COMMENDATION:

    • Invitation to Prayer
    • Incensation during the song of farewell 
    • Prayer of Commendation
    • Procession to the Place of Committal
  • FOR ANY OTHER SPECIAL CELEBRATION
