Essay Prompt(approximately three (3) pages or 1500words). Throughout years from 1954 to 2021, Black women have been a significant part of the struggle for civic engagement and racial justice. Discuss why is it important to recognize the contribution of women, and who are the women that stand out to you as change-makers in the struggle for social justice? What were the effective lessons and strategies they offered?

Submission

Each application must be submitted by Dec. 31, 2021 through the MLK Memorial Breakfast website: www.bostonmlkbreakfast.org. The essays will be reviewed and ranked by the MLK Breakfast Committee. Awards will be announced by January 5, 2021.
