Wedding Day Questionnaire
  • Wedding Day Questionnaire

  • Thank you for taking the time to fill this out.  I really appreciate you sharing these details with me so I can focus on what matters the most to you and know what to expect on your wedding day.

Here are some timeline tips to keep in mind too -

    • This is YOUR day! These questions are just the flow of a typical wedding day. That does not mean your day has to follow any of it. Tell me your vision.
    • Wedding days can go off the timeline, as a photographer I will be there to capture the moments as they are happening, sometimes that means that the first look is at 4 instead of 3:30. Sometimes that means that other planned photos are cut in order to do something else. I am only able to photograph things that happen, so having some overlap or buffer time planned can be helpful. I just recommend spending your wedding day doing what you love with who you love, and ill photograph it!
    • Having a MOH or someone else type A to keep the timeline in check can be helpful. I will be focusing on taking pictures on the wedding day and will use the below information as my guide. I do like to have the disclaimer that I am not a wedding planner because sometimes I feel like that can be expected. That being said, I am here for you and am happy to help you look/feel/be amazing.
    • I do overshoot since I have a candid approach. So you may see me and feel like you need to be "on", but you don't! I may be getting a detail shot or like the emotion taking place. No need to acknowledge me and if I want something from you, I will ask. In general, you'll probably be smiling and having a good time, so no need to fake it, just be happy. :)

  • Your Wedding Day Timeline -

  • The bellow questions help me know what you're wedding day looks like, where I need to be, and what time I need to be there. I will take the information provided and use it as a timeline.

If you have a wedding planner and have an exact timeline you can send my way, I appreciate that as well. it is helpful to get this copy 30 days out from your wedding day.

  • getting ready pictures for either person, or both (30+ min)
  • Are you planning on a first look (15+ min)

  • Wedding Party Formals (15+ min per party)

  • Family Formals (15+ min depending on size)

  • Time for Newlywed Portraits (30+ min)
  • These photos are the most likely to be on your walls and used for thank you cards. So I like to spend a good chunk of time capturing these images. Its also the most amount of time you'll actually spend together. So I recommend planning on having time for couples portraits.

These can be done after a first look, after the family formals after the ceremony, or at sunset during the reception. (or a little bit here and there)

  • Reception Information -

  • Are you being announced?
  • Are you having a first dance?
  • Are you having dances with your parents? (or whomever, ofc!)
  • Are you having a cake cutting?
  • Are you having speeches?
  • Should be Empty:
