  • Junction House Building Use Policy and Agreement:

    The Junction House is a community-oriented, easily accessible event venue where community members can gather while contributing to Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette’s mission of providing affordable housing.

    Anyone looking to make a reservation must meet the policy outlined in this agreement. Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and will require a refundable deposit of $150 in order to secure each event. Payments can be made via credit card.

    Rental hours: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

    Habitat will provide access instructions (door code, wifi, and other information) via email an hour before your scheduled booking. You must reply “ARRIVED/DEPARTED” to the email from which you receive your access instructions.

    Junction House Rental Fees:

    All fees are due at the time of booking.

    • $150 refundable deposit for incidental purposes (forfeiture of deposit and additional fees may apply for damages and/or uncleanliness)
    • Hourly Rate: $60/hour (0-9 hours)
    • Daily Rate: $600/day (10-12 hours)

  • Building Use Expectations

    1. Max occupancy: 88

    2. The Junction House should remain a smoke-free environment.

    a. Smokers may smoke outside the building (15 feet away from any building or house)

    3. The Junction House and associated property should remain a drug/alcohol free environment

    4. All minors should be accompanied by a responsible adult (over the age of 25 at all times

    5. The Junction House may be arranged in any manner as deemed necessary by tenant, however the space should be left in the arrangement it was found

    6. Items found in the kitchen (see below are communal and may be used by tenants. Please wash, dry and put away any dishes/supplies prior to departure

    a. Coffee maker/pots

    b. Pots, pans, baking sheets, serving dishes

    c. Towels

    7. Items found in cabinets, pantry, refrigerator and closet (aside from vacuum and cleaning supplies are the possession of Habitat for Humanity or groups who regularly use the building. Please do NOT use or move these items.

    8. Limit building use to pre-arranged rooms and timeframe

    9. Glitter, tape, nails, or adhesive are not used on the walls.

    10.   Follow cleaning process posted in venue

    11.   Overflow parking is available behind the Junction House at 216 Ellsworth Street (asphalt under basketball hoop.

    12.  Trash must be placed in receptacles provided outside.

    13.   Early arrival and/or late departure will incur additional charges.

    14.  Cancellations should be made two weeks prior to your event. If you must cancel with less than two weeks until your event, you will forfeit your $150 deposit.

    15.   Users hereby release, waive, and discharge Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette, Inc., its employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury including death while in, on or upon the premises where the event is being conducted.

    16.   Habitat reserves the right to review, adjust, confirm, or cancel any reservation without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances or maintenance.

    But if you are completing a multi-day reservation, please note:

    • You must reserve the additional date(s) by completing this form as many additional times as there are additional days in your multi-day reservation. So if you are making a three-day reservation, you must complete this form 3 times.
