Bougainvillea Academic Merit Scholarship
The Bougainvillea Academic Merit Scholarship is available to any undergraduate student from the Caribbean Region who is academically qualified and enrolled as a student at USC’s Main Campus. Trinidad and Tobago nationals are eligible for scholarships if they are enrolled in a program that is not funded by the Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses (GATE) Programme.
Eligibility/Criteria

All applicants must complete the Scholarship Application Form by the stated deadline to receive consideration. Consideration does not guarantee that a scholarship will be awarded.
- Students from the Caribbean region (T&T nationals eligible if enrolled in programmes NOT funded by GATE)
- Enrolled/accepted at USC’s Main Campus.
- Applicants should be registered (completed or in-process) for no less than 9 credits in the semester in which they apply.
- New Students: A minimum 3.0 high school GPA (equivalent to A or A- average), or a minimum of five Grade Ones in their presented CSEC subjects.
- Returning Students: 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
