b. EZ-Lane Trucking LLC’s failure to comply with applicable Federal, State, and/or Local laws, regulations, ordinances, or employer’s responsibilities.
c. EZ-Lane Trucking LLC’s use, maintenance, or operation of the equipment.
d. EZ-Lane Trucking LLC’s intentional negligent misuse or handling of the equipment or
e. Any combination of the above.
9) EZ-Lane Trucking LLC will be responsible for removing identification devices and paperwork from
the equipment upon the termination of this lease and returning it to the Lessee. EZ-Lane Trucking
LLC is responsible for all registration decalcomanias.
1)To issue and maintain liability and cargo insurance coverage for the protection of the public
pursuant to FMCSA regulations under 49 U.S.C. 13906. During the term of this lease, said
vehicle(s) shall be solely and exclusively under the direction, supervision, and control of the
Lessee, who shall assume full responsibility for the safety and operation of such motor vehicle(s)
to the public, shippers, and all state and federal regulatory bodies. The Lessee will provide EZ-
Lane Trucking LLC with a copy of each policy upon the request of EZ-Lane Trucking LLC. Each
certificate of insurance shall include the name of the insurer, policy number, effective dates,
amounts and types of coverages, and the deductible amount for each type of coverage for which
EZ-Lane Trucking LLC may be liable.
2)The relationship between the Lessee and EZ-Lane Trucking LLC is that of an independent
contractor and nothing contained in this lease contracts shall be construed as inconsistent with
that status. However, EZ-Lane Trucking LLC is solely responsible to comply with all regulations
and Lessee reserves the right to terminate this agreement as soon as there is evidence of non-
compliance. EZ-Lane Trucking LLC is not an employee, servant, agent, partner, or joint venture of
Lessee. EZ-Lane Trucking LLC has the exclusive right to employ, directly or indirectly, and control
all persons performing any service under this agreement and shall determine their terms and
