Hairball Haven houses between 60-80 cats on any given day. Possible responsibilities you might have while volunteering are scooping cat litter boxes, filling litter boxes, feeding and watering, sanitizing, general cleaning duties and moving cats from one enclosure to another. Are there any of these responsibilities that you would not be able to perform ?

What hours of the day would work best for you? Morning, afternoon or evening?

What days of the week are you available? Volunteers are needed every day.

How many hours per week are you able to assist at the Cat House?

- Hairball Haven is a non-profit 501(c)3 rescue that primarily pulls stray cats and kittens from Minot's City Pound.

- Hairball Haven is not liable for injuries you might sustain while at the Cat House, Petco or at an adoption event.

- The access code for the west door is for approved volunteers ONLY and not to be given to anyone who has not filled out an application.

- If you are bringing an individual to the cat house that was not on your application they must sign a form BEFORE interacting with the cats, or doing chores.

- Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have prior approval.

- Hoarding situations can be sensitive, therefore no photos may be shared on social media. You may share animals that are posted on Hairball Haven's Facebook page marked available.

- The neighbor hood around the Cat House is typically busy with people out and about, please be aware of your surroundings when coming and going after dark. Hairball Haven does have a security camera and lighting on the west side of the building.
