    2025 Dates and Times (Wednesdays):

    July 30 – Plastic Free July Cleanup, 6 - 8 pm

    CANCELLED: August 27 – World Water Week, 6 - 8 pm

    October 1 – Shower Better Month, 5:30 - 7:30 pm

    Requirements:

    • Volunteers must be 10 years old and up. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
    • A waiver is required to participate. All participants under 18 must have their guardian complete the form.
    • A personal flotation device (PFD) must be worn at all times.
    • Prior kayaking experience is required. You may bring your own kayak and PFD or use one provided by the City.

    *Greensboro City Lakes has agreed to waive the rental fees due to the cleanup. 
    Limited kayaks are available. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot(s).
