About each volunteer council

CEO Innovation & Inclusion Council	The Council is the cooperative’s industry’s leading thought leadership group comprised exclusively of chief executive officers from America’s top cooperative organizations. The Council is dedicated to advancing policies that promote innovation, inclusion and equity in the U.S. economy through cooperative leadership.

Cooperative Development Council	The Cooperative Development Council exists to pioneer cooperative and institutional capacity building programs that establish enabling environments for cooperative enterprise, ultimately allowing coop members to take a leadership role in furthering their own political and economic development.

Cooperative Economics Council	The Cooperative Economics Council exists to promote the cooperative business model, to provide analysis on important and timely issues to cooperatives and to serve as a forum for researchers interested in better understanding cooperatives, credit unions and mutuals.

Co-op-2-Co-op (Farmer-2-Farmer) Council	The Council serves NCBA CLUSA solely on an advisory role and provides insight to recruit, develop, and enhance the Farmer-to-Farmer community for NCBA CLUSA Farmer-to-Farmer assignments.

Marketing Council	The Council serves NCBA CLUSA membership as a forum and advisory council for executives to discuss marketing the cooperative identity and provides insight on cross-sector marketing strategies to advance the recruitment and retention of new and current co-op consumers to all sectors of cooperatives.

Member Engagement Council	The Council serves NCBA CLUSA membership as a forum and advisory council for executives to identify, develop and support programs and resources that advance the growth, success and sustainability of start-up co-ops, small co-ops, and emerging co-op sectors.

Principle 6 Ambassadors Council	The Council serves NCBA CLUSA membership as a forum and advisory council for executives to identify, develop and support programs and resources that advance the thought leadership and knowledge sharing of co-op membership.

Purchasing Co-op Council	The Council serves NCBA CLUSA membership as a forum and advisory council for executives to identify, develop and support programs and resources that help purchasing cooperative leaders expand growth opportunities.
