PUPPY RESPONSIBILITY: Who will be spending the most time with the puppy initially with potty training, socializing, and obedience training in the first few months? Is that person mentally and physically prepared to meet the needs of an energetic puppy, including night time potty training, constant supervision & adhering to a consistent daytime schedule to teach the puppy the regular home routines. *
PUPPY LOCATION: Where do you plan to keep the puppy at night? During the day? (In a crate, in a closed off area, other) Or do you still need to decide?*
FAMILY INTERACTIONS: Australian shepherds, Aussiedoodles, Poodles & Dachshunds are very smart, interactive dogs. They may become destructive and depressed if they do not receive enough MENTAL STIMULATION and INTERACTION WITH THEIR FAMILY. How will you include your new puppy/dog in your daily living activities? Especially if you are a dual income family where both adults work full time outside of the home.*
TRAVELING WITH YOU: Typically, these dogs love to travel and be on the go, they hate being left by themselves! Where will you be able to take your puppy/dog on a regular basis?*
COMMUNITY SERVICE CAREERS: Are there any immediate Family Members currently in a Community Service role, including Military, Police, Health Care (nurses, etc.), Firefighter, etc. Please contact us to inquire about our limited financial scholarships that may be available.
ARRANGE THE BEST ADOPTION DATE IN ADVANCE: It is best to bring home your puppy when you can have 4 to 7 days to completely devote to its care and getting it settled into its new environment. Being separated from its mom and littermates can be very difficult for them. You will need to be the physical and emotional replacement, starting the process of a permanent bond between you and your puppy. This initial time is crucial to the puppy's success in your household. We can keep your puppy a few weeks longer, at a rate of $20/day or $125/week, until you can arrange this time. However, we do require pre-payment in full of your puppy's extended stay fees. You must have a predetermined pick-up date at the time of your puppy deposit.
IDEAL ADOPTION DATE: How soon would you be ready to take your puppy home?*
UPON... 1. Completion, 2. Submission and 3. Approval of your application, you will be contacted and invited to be placed on the waitlist with a $50 processing fee OR, if there are available puppies already born, you may reserve your puppy with a $300 deposit.
