All applications for adult financial aid must be received by October 25. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
We will do our best to offer some financial aid toward one class for everyone who expresses a need. Tuition reductions for more than one class in a given session are possible, but no aid is guaranteed.
Please complete this form in its entirety to be considered for aid. Incomplete applications cannot be processed.
If you are applying for aid, please do not register for classes through our website. Please fill out this application, and wait to receive further information. Financial aid cannot be allocated retroactively.
All courses require live participation at the indicated times.
Until further notice, all students and faculty must wear masks whenever they are in the Theatre Lab building and must offer proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide weekly negative COVID test results before each class meeting. If you are not vaccinated, you must submit a negative PCR or rapid antigen COVID-19 test. Test results must be emailed in by close of business (5 PM Monday-Friday) the day before each class. At home tests will not be accepted. PCR and rapid antigen COVID-19 tests can be found at a pharmacy, local testing sites, or a medical facility. Tests must be taken within 72 hours of each class date.
If you do not provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR or rapid antigen COVID-19 test, you will not be allowed to take the class.
Proof of vaccination may be submitted via an online form. The link will be included in the email confirming your registration.
Classes take place at The Theatre Lab, 900 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, DC.
Online classes are held on Zoom. Please visit this link to see the technical requirements for participating in these classes. Students who receive aid and then do not receive good attendance reports will be ineligible for aid in the future.
