    • Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships (University of Toronto) 
    • Description

      • The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships at the University of Toronto provide an unparalleled opportunity for outstanding international students to study at one of the world’s best universities in one of the world’s most multicultural cities
      • The scholarship program is intended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school
      • A special emphasis is placed on the impact the student has had on the life of their school and community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community
      • This is UofT’s most prestigious and competitive scholarship for international students

      Criteria

      • Awarded annually, these scholarships recognize outstanding students from around the world
      • Pearson Scholars are students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and creativity
      • Who are accepted as leaders within their school, and who have the potential to contribute to the global community in the future
      • They can be distinguished from other students who may have equally high academic results by virtue of their breadth of interest, intellectual energy and impact on the life of their school and community 
      • An international student (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
      • Enrolled in your final year of senior secondary school in 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024
      • Beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025 
      • Apply to study at the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024

      Details

      • The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships will cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years
      • The scholarship is tenable only at the University of Toronto for first-entry, undergraduate programs

    • Schulich Leader Scholarships

      Description

      • The Schulich Leader Scholarships is a Canadian and Israeli undergraduate award program that provides scholarships for students enrolled in STEM areas of study

      Criteria

      • Graduating high school in 2024/2025
      • Canadian citizen or permanent resident 
      • Entrepreneurial-minded and plan to enroll in an eligible stem program at one of our partner universities
      • Meet the following criteria:
        1. Academic excellence AND
        2. Leadership, charisma and creativity (strong consideration will be given to students with financial need)
      • Be entrepreneurial-minded and intend to pursue a career in one or more of the following focus areas:
        • Technology
        • Engineering
        • Entrepreneurship and Business Enterprise
        • Applied Scientific Research
      • We are NOT considering students who:
        • Focus on activism (environmental, political, societal)
        • Intend to become a practising physician and or medical researcher (this includes doctors, dentists, nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, optometrists etc.)
        • Intend to become a professor and conduct theoretical research

    • National Scholarship Program (Western University)

      Description

      • National Scholarships are designed to recognize all-round excellence
      • They are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance to candidates who demonstrate ability for creative and innovative thought and a passion for the pursuit of learning
      • National Scholarships also recognize exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities such as the arts and athletics
      • A special emphasis is placed on a candidate's commitment to community service through ongoing contributions to school and community life

      Criteria

      • With the exception of the International President’s Entrance Scholarship applicants, National Scholarship applicants must be Canadian Citizens or a Permanent Resident of Canada
      • All applicants must have obtained a minimum overall academic average of 90% on all Grade 12U/M courses (or equivalent)
      • National Scholarships are available only at Western's main campus and Faculty Entrance Scholarships are available only within the faculty for which the scholarship has been awarded
      • You must make an admission application to Western University (main campus) to be considered for these scholarships and you must register as a full-time student

      • Neen Hodgins National Entrance Scholarship
        • 1 at $80,000; payable $20,000 per academic year for a period of four years.
      • President’s Entrance Scholarships
        • 1 at $70,000 ($25,000 for year one, $15,000 annually for years two to four)
        • 4 at $65,000 ($20,000 for year one, $15,000 annually for years two to four) and;
        • Up to 15 at $50,000 ($20,000 for year one, $10,000 annually for years two to four)
      • Beryl Ivey Continuing Entrance Scholarship
        • 1 at $72,000; payable $18,000 per academic year for a period of four years.
      • Neen Hodgins President's International Entrance Scholarship
        • 1 at up to $80,000; payable $20,000 per academic year for a period of four years.
      • International President's Entrance Scholarships
        • 3 at $50,000 ($20,000 for year one, $10,000 annually for years two to four)
      • Faculty Entrance Scholarships
        • Up to 15 at $30,000 ($12,000 for year one, $6,000 annually for years two to four)
      • National Scholarship Study Abroad Awards
        • Up to 39 at $2,500 for up to 4 months (one term), $5,000 for over 4 months (more than one term)
      • National Merit Awards
        • Those students who are interviewed for a National Scholarship but not offered a National Scholarship or a Schulich Leader Scholarship and accepting an offer of admission to main campus will receive a one-year National Merit Award valued at $2,000. Recipients will also retain eligibility for an Admission Scholarship ranging in value from $2,500 to $8,000.
