NOTICE TO PET OWNER/GUARDIAN: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
This Agreement includes a Release of Liability, Waiver of Certain Legal Rights, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification Agreement. Do not sign this Agreement unless you have read it in its entirety and understand its terms, policies, procedures, and conditions.
In consideration for my pet(s) being permitted to participate in boarding, daycare, training, transportation, handling, or any other services provided by LittleRose Canine Services, I, the undersigned owner/guardian, agree to the following terms and conditions:
OWNER/GUARDIAN AUTHORIZATION
I represent that I am the legal owner and/or authorized guardian of the pet(s) listed on this agreement and am fully authorized to enter into this Agreement on their behalf.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
LittleRose Canine Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any pet at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion.
PET REQUIREMENTS
I certify that my pet:
Is current on all required vaccinations;
Has been free from any known contagious illness for at least 30 days prior to check-in;
Has completed all required registration forms;
Will enter and exit the facility on a leash or in an appropriate carrier.
HEALTH & COMMUNICABLE DISEASES
I understand that dogs in a boarding, daycare, or social environment may be exposed to illness, parasites, injuries, or communicable diseases despite reasonable sanitation and vaccination requirements.
I acknowledge that vaccines do not guarantee protection from all illnesses or conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my pet’s participation in services.
I further understand that the owners and staff of LittleRose Canine Services are not veterinarians and cannot diagnose medical conditions.
MEDICATIONS
If medication is provided for my pet during their stay, I understand that LittleRose Canine Services will administer medications according to my instructions but cannot guarantee against complications, missed doses, or unforeseen reactions. I assume all risks associated with medication administration.
VETERINARY CARE & EMERGENCIES
If my pet becomes ill, injured, or requires medical attention while in the care of LittleRose Canine Services, I authorize LittleRose Canine Services to seek veterinary treatment deemed reasonably necessary for my pet’s health and safety.
I authorize transportation of my pet to a veterinary facility if necessary and grant LittleRose Canine Services authority to make decisions regarding emergency medical care when I cannot be reached promptly.
I understand and agree that:
I am solely responsible for all veterinary and transportation expenses incurred;
Payment for veterinary services may be required immediately;
LittleRose Canine Services is not financially responsible for veterinary treatment decisions or outcomes.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand that animals are unpredictable and that participation in boarding, daycare, playgroups, transportation, handling, and related services carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Illness;
Injury;
Scratches;
Bite wounds;
Stress;
Escape attempts;
Property damage;
Serious injury or death.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my pet’s participation in services provided by LittleRose Canine Services.
DOG INTERACTIONS & AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR
I understand that dogs interacting in social or boarding environments may engage in rough play, unpredictable behavior, or aggression.
If my pet displays aggressive, dangerous, destructive, or otherwise unacceptable behavior, LittleRose Canine Services may:
Separate my pet from other dogs;
Modify participation;
Require immediate pickup;
Refuse future services.
I understand that dogs may sustain minor injuries during normal play or interaction, including scratches, punctures, or abrasions.
If my pet causes injury or damage to another pet, person, or property, I accept full financial responsibility for all resulting medical, veterinary, repair, or legal expenses.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LittleRose Canine Services, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be held liable for:
Illness;
Injury;
Death;
Loss;
Escape;
Theft;
Property damage;
Veterinary expenses;
Actions of other animals;
Unforeseen events;
Natural disasters;
Fire;
Weather-related incidents;
Acts beyond reasonable control.
This limitation of liability does not apply in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct where prohibited by law.
PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE
I grant permission for LittleRose Canine Services to photograph or record my pet and use such images or videos for marketing, advertising, website content, and social media purposes without compensation.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
I understand that LittleRose Canine Services is not responsible for lost, damaged, or destroyed personal property belonging to me or my pet, including but not limited to collars, leashes, beds, toys, blankets, or carriers.
For safety reasons, collars and certain accessories may be removed during play or boarding activities.
FEES & PAYMENT
I agree to pay all charges, fees, balances, cancellation fees, veterinary expenses, and other costs associated with my pet’s stay.
Payment is due at the time of drop-off or pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
RESERVATIONS
Confirmed reservations are required for boarding services.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICY
Check-ins and check-outs are by reservation and appointment ONLY Monday through Saturday.
Clients are expected to arrive within their scheduled appointment window.
A 15-minute grace period is permitted for arrivals. After 15 minutes without communication or an updated ETA, appointments may need to be rescheduled. Same-day rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Repeated late arrivals, missed appointment times, or excessive last-minute schedule changes may result in:
Late fees;
Modified scheduling privileges;
Refusal of future appointment requests.
LittleRose Canine Services is CLOSED on Sundays and most major holidays for pickups and drop-offs.
Pickups or drop-offs before 8:00 AM or after 6:00 PM may incur an additional overnight boarding charge.
Once a pet’s stay has begun, all reserved boarding days are non-refundable regardless of early pickup.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the start of the reservation will incur a $50 cancellation fee per kennel reserved.
ABANDONED PETS
If a pet is not picked up within 7 days of the scheduled pickup date and the owner/guardian cannot be contacted despite reasonable efforts, LittleRose Canine Services reserves the right to exercise all rights available under applicable law regarding abandoned animals, including surrender to animal control or rehoming organizations.
Owner remains financially responsible for all unpaid boarding and related expenses.
DUTY TO DISCLOSE
I agree to disclose any known medical conditions, behavioral concerns, bite history, aggression, anxiety, escape tendencies, or other information relevant to my pet’s care or safety.
I understand that LittleRose Canine Services relies upon the accuracy and completeness of the information I provide.
RELEASE, WAIVER & INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless LittleRose Canine Services, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, attorney’s fees, actions, or causes of action arising out of or relating to:
My pet’s participation in services;
Injury, illness, or death of my pet;
Actions or behavior of my pet;
Dog bites or altercations;
Property damage;
Transmission of disease;
Information I provided that is inaccurate or incomplete;
My breach of this Agreement.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions or understandings relating to the subject matter herein.
REAFFIRMATION
Each time I leave my pet in the care of LittleRose Canine Services, I reaffirm the terms of this Agreement and certify that all information provided remains accurate and current.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT I AM GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS. I SIGN THIS AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY AND AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN.
